1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kretell ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Kretell is an AI-powered LinkedIn content generation platform that helps users create authentic posts by learning and replicating their unique writing styles.

Kretell also provides ATLAS, a long-form writing companion that enables users to produce research-backed documents including white papers, academic articles, books, screenplays, and other long-form formats. ATLAS uses third-party research APIs including Perplexity and academic databases to retrieve source material. All research sources are presented to users for approval before being used in document generation.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Free Trial

Kretell offers a free trial consisting of 4 posts within a 14-day period. No payment is required during the trial. After the trial ends, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.

5. Subscription and Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly at the current rate. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6. Use of Content

Content generated by Kretell is for your personal or professional use on LinkedIn. You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service.

6a. ATLAS Projects and Research

ATLAS projects and all content generated within them — including research source cards, table of contents, section drafts, and exported documents — are owned by the user. Kretell does not claim any intellectual property rights over ATLAS-generated content.

Research sources retrieved by ATLAS are sourced from third-party APIs and publicly available databases. Kretell presents these sources for user approval but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of third-party research content. Users are responsible for verifying all factual claims before publishing ATLAS-generated documents.

The Research Confidence Score provided by ATLAS is an indicator of source quality based on Kretell's internal tier system. It is not a guarantee of factual accuracy. Kretell accepts no liability for inaccuracies in published documents that originated from ATLAS-generated content.

ATLAS projects are stored on Kretell's servers for the duration of the user's active subscription. Upon subscription cancellation, users are advised to export any ATLAS projects they wish to retain. Kretell reserves the right to delete ATLAS project data 30 days after subscription cancellation.

Fiction content generated via ATLAS Fiction Mode is entirely original and does not reproduce copyrighted material. Users are responsible for ensuring their ATLAS projects do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

7. Refund Policy

7.1 Monthly Plans

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel anytime from account settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds for unused days.

7.2 Annual Plans

Eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. After 14 days, non-refundable. If cancelled after 14 days, full access is retained for the remainder of the annual period.

7.3 How to Request a Refund

Email billing@kretell.com with your registered email address and payment reference. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.

7.4 Renewal Charges

All plans renew automatically. Cancel before your billing date to avoid the next charge. Annual subscribers receive a reminder email 3 days before renewal.

7.5 Exceptions

If charged due to a technical error on our end, contact billing@kretell.com regardless of time elapsed.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Intellectual Property

Kretell and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Kretell and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

Kretell shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service.
